<p align="left"><a href="http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/folha/cotidiano/ult95u398692.shtml">O sul do Brasil também sofreu com um forte ciclone nos últimos dias</a> (Na foto ao lado, Porto Alegre). Certamente não há comparação entre as duas tragédias em termos de destruição e vítimas fatais, mas isso não nos impede de bater, mais uma vez, naquela tecla: até quando o homem vai atingir a natureza de tal maneira que desastres como esses aconteçam, praticamente sem que possam ser previstos?</p>

<p align="left">No final do mês de abril o estado do <a href="http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/folha/cotidiano/ult95u398692.shtml" target="_blank">Rio de Janeiro também sofreu</a> com ondas de mais de 2m, ressacas violentas que <a href="http://g1.globo.com/Noticias/Rio/0,,MUL424384-5606,00-ONDA+ATINGE+CATAMARA+E+FERE+PASSAGEIROS.html">arrancaram as portas de embarcações</a> no percurso Rio-Niterói, e, pasmem, <a href="http://g1.globo.com/VCnoG1/0,,MUL425308-8491,00-SURFISTAS+APROVEITAM+ONDAS+DA+RESSACA+EM+NITEROI.html" target="_blank">ondas de 2m na praia de Icaraí</a>, que é uma praia de Baía.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Talvez o mais difícil na luta para ajudar o meio ambiente seja mudar nossas atitudes cotidianas, como por exemplo andar mais a pé, dar prioridade a produtos produzidos de forma justa etc.</p>
<p>Mas fica ainda mais difícil quando percebemos que praticamente todas as nossas ações estão contribuindo para desgastar ainda mais o meio ambiente, entre elas nossos momentos de diversão. Isso mesmo, aquela saidinha inocente com amigos, pra dançar a noite toda e liberar os estresses da semana, também pode ser um risco para o planeta.</p>
<p>A boa notícia é que cientistas holandeses estão desenvolvendo uma forma sustentável de ir pra night ou pra balada: nosso próprio corpo, ao dançar, produz a energia necessária para alimentar as luzes e o som da boate. O máximo, não? Literalmente, diversão sem culpas!</p>

Mas, atualmente, um novo “tipo” de refugiado preocupa e chama a atenção do mundo: o refugiado climático. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PT-BR"><o:p></o:p>Os refugiados climáticos são aqueles que têm que deixar seu lugar por causa das mudanças ambientais, especialmente resultado da mudança climática que vivemos com o aquecimento global. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PT-BR"><o:p> </o:p>A questão já preocupa os países da União Européia, que se reuniram no dia 13 de março para discutir esse tema e alertam para o aumento substancial da pressão migratória como resultado das mudanças climáticas. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

Em 2002, os 11 mil habitantes começam a      arrumar as malas e partir rumo à Nova Zelândia, que vai acolher todos os      migrantes. Isso porque durante o século XX, o nível do mar subiu entre 20      e <st1:metricconverter productid="30 cent￭metros" w:st="on">30 centímetros</st1:metricconverter>.      O estrago é tremendo: a água salgada inundou áreas baixas, contaminou      reservas de água potável, comprometeu a agricultura e, com sua força,      causou a erosão da costa das nove ilhas do pequeno arquipélago.<o:p></o:p></span></li>

Em 1987, o então presidente da ilha, Maumoon Gayoom, foi à tribuna da Assembléia Geral da ONU dizer que vivia em &#8220;uma nação em perigo&#8221;. Três anos mais tarde, era criada a Aliança de Pequenas Ilhas-Nações para defender os interesses de países vulneráveis às alterações climáticas.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PT-BR">Enquanto alguns países se preocupam em perder seus balneários, para outros, é bem mais complicado: a perda do espaço territorial, da nação, de sua vida.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span lang="PT-BR">Os especialistas estimam que, até 2050, vão ser entre 500 milhões e 1 bilhão os refugiados climáticos. Quem os receberá? No mundo atual tão hostil à imigração, para onde irão todas estas vítimas? <o:p></o:p></span></p>
